The alive collective is the National Centre’s general membership base, free to any individuals or organisations working in mental health research, research translation or policy and practice implementation; to any individuals with lived experience of mental health issues either as a consumer or a carer; or any individuals with an interest in the national Centre’s efforts to reduce the individual, social and economic impacts that are caused by mental illness burden and unmet needs in Australia
Any members of the other three ALIVE networks are automatically members of the alive collective
The alive collective provides members with a way to support and grow awareness of the NHMRC Special Initiative in Mental Health

Potential access to research capacity building support.
Member subscription options to our Co-Design Living Labs network with the potential for rapid delivery of co-design for service re-design, improvement and research across universities and interested sectoral organisations.
Research-focused organisations can access apply to the consumer and carer committees for endorsement to invite lived-experience research collective members to collaborate on research projects, either in the university/research institute setting or community-based.
General membership to the ALIVE community, including access to news, events, and dissemination to support research translation.
Choosing to be contacted for input into national surveys, flagship projects and crowdsourcing activities of the ALIVE Centre
